What would you like to see on BuildingChurchLeaders.com?

It’s a little hard to believe that the time has come already, but we, the ever-diligent editors of Building Church Leaders, are busy preparing for 2009. We have plans to address some exciting topics in the next year, and we know you’ll find these fresh downloads useful for your ministries.

But to be certain we’re best meeting your needs, we’d love to hear from you. What topics would you like to see BCL cover in 2009? What challenges are you facing, or in what areas do you feel ill equipped? Feel free to list broad topics—such as worship, Christian education, volunteer training—or specific ones—meaningful Easter practices, using Internet technologies, etc. Simply post a comment with your recommendations.

Thank you for helping us help you. We look forward to hearing your feedback.

I can never get enough help with our worship teams. They want to constantly improve and soak up anything we teach them. But after 10 years myself and my two worship guys, just don't know what to suggest anymore! There are always new members coming on that need help even with basic stage presence... how to engage the audience in worship... and then there is the issue of integrating younger members into the teams when they think the older worship team members sometimes look silly on stage... I could go on and on. Thanks for the opportunity to ask!

Dear Cool People,
I really like your site. I use it for personal research. My question: Are there any resources on when a church is in the process of splitting? Ours is. I'm looking for encouragement and insight for the people who are leaving. Some of these people have been attending this church for over 10 years. Thank you Gabrielle Newman

Good day to all of you at BCL! I would like to have you present information regarding the bi-vocational pastor. It appears that most of the information available for pastors is tailored for the "full time" pastor. Bi-vocational pastors, I believe would benefit from materials that speak to their unique situations. Balancing family, secular job & ministry. Thanks for the opportunity to request a topic of discussion.
